Experience gentle, affordable care in a shared healing space where community acupuncture supports relaxation, wellness, and ongoing balance.
Community acupuncture is the practice of treating multiple people at a time in one room. This is a great way to receive the benefits of acupuncture in a safe and cozy community setting, at an affordable rate, making it an option for those seeking affordable acupuncture in Arlington.
These sessions are great for providing preventative health care and maintaining overall wellness.
Not all conditions treated in private sessions can be treated effectively in the community setting. Examples of conditions that can be addressed are: stress relief, insomnia, acupuncture for anxiety, mild depression, sinus congestion or sinusitis, peripheral acupuncture for neuropathy as a side effect of cancer treatments, nausea and vomiting in general, GI symptom issues, and isolated, specific musculoskeletal pain conditions such as tennis/golfers elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, knee pain, and ankle/foot pain.
Please keep in mind that community acupuncture treatments will focus only on the patient’s primary symptom(s). These treatments do not include other modalities like cupping, gua sha, moxibustion, heat-lamp therapy, or herbal medicine, which may be necessary for chronic or complex conditions. Complicated conditions that require more in-depth discussion and multiple treatment modalities are better suited for private acupuncture.
Community acupuncture sessions focus on your primary symptom(s) and are well-suited for:
Note: Complex or chronic conditions that require additional modalities such as cupping, moxibustion, or herbal medicine are better suited for private acupuncture sessions.

Your first visit begins with a brief intake conducted in the community room. We ask all clients to speak quietly to maintain serenity in the shared space. Please complete your intake forms online before arrival.
After your intake, your acupuncturist will guide you to a treatment chair, place fine needles, and allow you to rest among other clients as your body does the healing.
Most clients experience improvements after 6–12 sessions, scheduled once or twice per week. Chronic conditions may require 20–30 treatments.
