Community Acupuncture · Accessible care

Affordable, effective, communal.

Acupuncture in a shared, peaceful room. Lower pricing than private acupuncture. Newcomers always welcome, most points are below the elbows and knees, so you stay fully clothed.

What is community acupuncture?

Community acupuncture is acupuncture delivered in a quiet, shared room, typically with three to six reclining chairs spaced for comfort and privacy, at a lower price point than private treatment. The same licensed acupuncturists, the same clinical attention, the same effectiveness. The difference is the room.

Most points used in community treatment are below the elbows and knees, so clients remain fully clothed. Sessions are 45-60 minutes; you can rest, sleep, or simply sit with your eyes closed.

Community acupuncture is the most accessible way to receive frequent acupuncture, chronic conditions, stress patterns, and seasonal tune-ups all benefit from a steady cadence rather than a single visit.

Conditions we see most

What clients come in for.

Stress & anxiety

Most common reason new clients try community acupuncture. The shared-room setting itself is calming.

Chronic pain

Back, neck, joint, headache. Frequent treatment is more effective than occasional, community pricing makes it possible.

Sleep issues

Sleep regulation responds especially well to a once-or-twice-weekly cadence.

Seasonal allergies

A series of treatments before and during peak allergy season often softens the response.

Digestive support

IBS, bloating, sluggish digestion, points below the knees address most of what we treat here.

General wellness

Tune-ups for clients who simply feel better with regular acupuncture in their routine.

Schedule & rates

Honest pricing, frequent access.

Initial visit

$82

First-time intake, treatment plan, and full session.

Follow-up

$68

Same modality, returning clients.

5-session pack

$290

Save vs. paying per visit. Use weekly or as-needed.

What to wear

Comfortable clothing that lets us reach below your elbows and below your knees. Loose pants or a long skirt work well. We provide blankets if you’d like to be warm during the rest portion.

Etiquette

The room is kept quiet so everyone can rest. Phones on silent. We ask that you avoid strong perfumes, many clients are scent-sensitive. The practitioner moves between chairs throughout the session.

Community acupuncture sessions do not generate a medical receipt for insurance reimbursement. Private acupuncture does, see our Rates & Insurance page.
