Our Vision · Est. 1990

Healing wisdom for the whole person.

A simple idea took shape in Arlington in 1990. The goal was to create a place where people could feel supported, understood, and genuinely cared for. Thirty-five years later, that intention has not changed.

Our story

The Teal Center was founded in 1990 by Brenda Teal, originally operating out of her home in Washington, DC. The practice grew with staff, and ultimately found its home in Arlington in the Randolph Towers building. What began as a single massage practice grew into a regional integrative-wellness destination, now offering seventeen modalities under one roof.

Most of our clients arrive on referral. Reviews consistently describe the space as tranquil, peaceful, relaxing, and we want this site to feel the same way.

"We help people understand their pain and resolve their pain on whatever level that pain is showing up."
