The Teal Center (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using www.tealcenter.com (the “Site”) or scheduling services with us, you agree to the practices described below.
We collect information you provide directly, name, email, phone number, mailing address, intake-form responses, payment details, and any preferences you share with your practitioner. We also collect technical information automatically (IP address, browser type, device, referring page, and pages visited) via cookies and similar technologies.
We use your information to schedule and deliver services, process payments, send appointment reminders and confirmations, respond to inquiries, personalize your visits, comply with legal obligations, and improve the Site. We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with: (a) service providers who support our operations (booking software, payment processors, email/SMS delivery, IT hosting), under contracts requiring confidentiality; (b) professional regulators or law-enforcement, if legally required; and (c) successor entities in the event of a business sale or merger. We never share your information with marketers.
The Site uses essential cookies to keep the booking flow working and analytics cookies to understand site usage in aggregate. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features of the Site may not work as expected without them.
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted payment processing, access controls on practitioner notes, and secure offsite backups. No internet transmission is fully secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing feelbetter@tealcenter.com. You can also opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, or out of SMS by replying STOP.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We retain client records for as long as your account is active and as required for clinical, tax, and legal purposes (typically seven years for treatment records under Virginia regulations). You may request earlier deletion of marketing data at any time.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted on the Site at least 30 days before they take effect.
