Facial Rejuvenation · Natural, drug-free

Facial rejuvenation, the natural way.

Cosmetic acupuncture for the face. Reduces fine lines, improves circulation, and supports radiance from within, without injections, downtime, or harsh chemicals.

What is facial rejuvenation acupuncture?

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is a safe, painless, non-surgical, and drug-free way to reduce the signs of aging. Sometimes called Cosmetic Acupuncture, this holistic anti-aging treatment addresses the balance of the whole body, helping you to feel younger in addition to looking younger.

Unlike injection procedures, such as botox, facial acupuncture addresses not only signs of aging, but also the skin’s overall health. It uses the body’s own resources to create a sustainable change and more natural-looking effect.

It is considered an extension of traditional acupuncture, based on many of the same principles and uses a similar whole-body approach. The differences lie mainly in the needle types and techniques, generally, much smaller needles are used with different insertion and manipulation techniques.

Cosmetic Acupuncture is more than skin deep.

As the only all-natural approach that simultaneously improves your appearance and your overall well-being, Cosmetic Acupuncture empowers you to radiate health and timeless beauty at any age.

When to skip it

Facial rejuvenation is not appropriate if you’re pregnant, have a bleeding disorder, are on blood thinners, have a pacemaker, or are in active treatment for migraines. We’ll suggest body-only acupuncture in these cases.

It is important to note that while many individuals have experienced positive results from Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, these results are not guaranteed and vary from person to person. The effectiveness of the treatment can depend on various factors, including age, lifestyle habits, and overall health. As with any cosmetic or wellness treatment, it is essential to maintain realistic expectations and understand that individual outcomes may differ.

FAQs

Common questions, answered.

Let’s be realistic, aging is inevitable. But the signs of aging can be delayed. Naturally, and without toxins.

Differences to regular acupuncture lie mainly in the different needle types and needling techniques used. Generally, much smaller needles are used with different insertion/manipulation techniques.

The treatment itself involves the insertion of very fine facial acupuncture needles into specific points on the face and head, with body points added depending on your individual needs. The initial appointment is 90 minutes and includes a thorough skin assessment, guasha and cupping. Each follow up treatment takes about 75 minutes, with the needles left in place for about 30 minutes. During this time you relax at a comfortable treatment table listening to calming music.

A standard course of treatment is 10 individual sessions, ideally to be completed in succession of once or twice per week as your schedule allows (therefore 5 to 10 weeks of treatment). For your first time, it is recommended to opt for the standard set of 10 treatments for best results, and results are often noticed after the first 4 treatments.

Every patient is different, and length of effect is dependent on several factors including age, health of the skin, and general health. Results have potential to last from 1 to 5 years, and maintenance treatments are usually performed once per month or season to maximize longevity of treatment.

Bruising can happen. Small bruising is hard to completely avoid due to the vast network of small capillaries in the face. If you suffer from uncontrolled high blood pressure, severe migraines, or blood clotting disorders, facial rejuvenation acupuncture may not be right for you.
