Qi Breathwork at The Teal Center

Traditional Chinese Medicine breath practice for cultivating Qi, the vital energy that animates the body and mind. Grounding, centering, and restorative.

Qi breathwork & Chinese medicine

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the breath is one of the primary ways we cultivate and direct Qi, the vital life force that flows through the body’s meridians. When Qi is abundant and flowing freely, the body regulates itself with ease. When it is depleted or stagnant, symptoms arise.

Qi Breathwork uses guided breathing sequences drawn from Qigong and classical Chinese medicine to support Qi cultivation, clear stagnation, and ground the nervous system.

What to expect

Sessions are typically conducted lying down in a relaxed, supported position. Your practitioner guides you through a sequence of breath patterns, often paired with gentle intention, visualization, or sound. Sessions run 45-60 minutes.

Qi Breathwork pairs naturally with acupuncture and TCM bodywork, many clients find it deepens the effects of their regular treatment.
