To my Fellow Eastern Europeans

Riina Chaplow LMT

Like me you probably have been feeling frozen. All the trauma from our past suddenly flooding forward. I want to tell you, you are not alone in this. We all feel this way, and as Brene Brown says, the less you talk about it, the more you have it (not a direct quote).

Feldenkrais Method Brings Effortless Movement

Feldenkrais Method

What is the Feldenkrais Method?
The Feldenkrais Method is named after its creator, Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, D.Sc. (1904-1984), a Russian born physicist, judo expert, mechanical engineer and educator.
The Feldenkrais Method is a form of somatic education that uses gentle movement and directed attention to improve movement and enhance human functioning. Through Feldenkrais sessions, you can increase your ease and range of motion, improve your flexibility and coordination, and rediscover your innate capacity for graceful, efficient movement.

Fortunately, there’s a manual therapy designed to help the lymphatic system when it gets bogged down. It’s called Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD for short).

Spring: a fair wind for a fresh start

wind in sails

In truth, we begin again with each moment. But there are windows of opportunity when the winds are blowing favorably: when nature herself supports our rebirth and renewal. Let’s ride that wind to lives with better health — with more energy to pursue our goals and dreams. Then, when the winds change, we’ll be strong and clear-sighted enough to keep to our own course.
